ALTRINCHAM

Manager: Graham Heathcote
Stadium: Moss Lane
Capacity: 6,085
Nickname: The Robins.

History: Having been ever-present in the Conference between 1979 and 1997, they were relegated to the Unibond League. However after being crowned League champions in 1999 and then becoming the only ever winners of the Conference North vs South play-off final in 2005, they regained their Conference status. Although finishing in the relegation zone from 2006-2008, they survived due to the collapse of a number of Conference teams and Altrincham are now certainly benefiting from this as they could squeeze a play-off place.

Key Player: Chris Senior Chris performed well this season scoring 16 goals. He started his career with Huddersfield before joining Scarborough in 2003. Chris joined Altrincham in 2007 and when he is not playing he is a qualified physio at Sheffield United.

Final League Position: 14th
Altrincham finished comfortably in mid-table. Despite being only 1 of a handful of part-time clubs, I feel Graham Heathcote will be satisfied with this and will look to strengthen and push on next year.
