EBBSFLEET UNITED

Manager: Liam Daish
Stadium: Stonebridge Road
Capacity: 4,098
Nickname: The Fleet

History: Formerly known as Gravesend & Northfleet, Ebbsfleet are one of the few clubs to be owned by the fans. They changed their name in 2007 and have spent most of time in the lower tiers of non-league football. In 1997 Ebbsfleet transferred to the Ryman Premier Division and in 2002 they won the championship, earning promotion to the Conference as a result. Their most memorable moment came in the FA Trophy as they beat Torquay United 1-0 at Wembley to lift the cup.

Key player: Magno Vieira.  Magno has been in decent from this season but his 18 goals were unable to help Ebbsfleet survive in the Conference. Having been born in Brazil, he arrived in England to join Wigan Athletic. He has had loan spells with Northampton, Carlisle, Barnet, Crawley Town and Cambridge before signing for Wycombe Wanderers in 2008. He played 14 games for them before arriving at Ebbsfleet in 2009.

Final League Position: 22nd
Ebbsfleet capped a dismal season by getting relegated on the final day of the season despite a 4-2 win away at Tamworth. Next season the fans will be hoping that they can bounce straight back up, but this will be difficult especially with the future looking uncertain for manager Liam Daish and the Ebbsfleet players.
