History: Hayes & Yeading are a newly formed team having been created in 2007 after the merger between Hayes FC and Yeading. After a year of consolidation in the Blue Square South, the 2008/09 season saw them reach the play-offs. Here they beat Hampton & Richmond thus achieving promotion to the Blue Square Premier.

Key Player: Scott Fitzgerald Scott has been in lethal form this season scoring a total of 11 goals. He has vast experience in the Football League, having played 55 times for Watford and 23 times for Brentford. Scott has also played for Basingstoke before he was signed by Hayes and Yeading in August 2008.

Final League Position: 17th
Hayes & Yeading will be pretty pleased with their final position in the league after their debut season in the Blue Square Premier. This will give manager Gary Haylock and the players confidence going into next season.
