History: Kettering Town were founder members of the Alliance Premier League in 1979 and maintained their status in the top-flight of semi-professional football until the 2000-2001 season when they were relegated to the Conference North. They were promoted back to the Conference in the 2007-2008 season and have finished runners-up on 4 occasions in 1981,1989, 1994 and 1998.

Key Player: Jean Paul Marna French born Marna has been in fine form this season and finished as Kettering’s top scorer with 11 goals.  He is has had spells with Paris St Germain, Berkhamstead Town and is a current French National futsal striker. Last season was his first in the Blue Square Premier League scoring 11 goals in 52 appearances.

Final League Position: 6th
Kettering will be pleased with the season but will be a little bit disappointed they weren’t able to reach the play-offs. They will be hoping they can go further next season.
